Mr. Saurabh Mittal, IIT Delhi Alumnus, donates Rs. 10 Crore for Sports Complex

Mr. Saurabh Mittal, an IIT Delhi Alumnus, announced a donation of Rs 10 Crore towards construction of a Sports Complex on the Campus of the Institute. The donation was announced during a brief ceremony held in the Institute today (12/05/2017). A MoU was also signed during this ceremony.

The proposed Sports Complex is a beautiful building and it will house state of art, excellent sports amenities.

Mr. Mittal received his Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from the Institute in 1995 and Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1999. In that year, he partnered with two of his IIT Delhi colleagues to co-found Indiabulls Group. At present, Mr. Mittal is Chairman of Mission Holdings, his private investment vehicle. He currently serves on the Harvard Business School Alumni Board; the Board of Governers of Avasara Academy, a leadership development school focused on girls; and the Governing body of Parivaar, a leading charitable organization running India’s largest residential school for destitute children.
